I am happy to introduce a new (possibly, hopefully hit) series on YouTube: Blaming the enduser.
This series is about all the bad things that happen to endusers, and us asking the question who is to blame for those issues. After all, it all boils down to user adoption.
In this series, we don’t take each other or the subject very seriously. Filled with f-bombs and faul language, we try to make our points and provide some entertainment at the same time. These 30 minute videos are highly NSFW (not safe for work), so wear your headphones, don’t let children listen and the images used might not be suitable to let your coworkers see.
Jussi Mori, who is the coolest guy in Finland (in my humble opinion), is one of the cofounders of Happit and does a lot of work at Experts Inside. He likes sailing and all things geeky.
Marijn Somers, who is the coolest guy in Belgium (in his own opinion too), is a productivity coach at Mijn 365 coach and a podcast hero for “Office 365 Distilled“.
At the time of writing, we are 2 episodes in.
First episode: When the shit hits the fan
Our first episode was Marijn talking about the moments in the life of and enduser when things go really south. We look at 5 moments, from joining a company to leaving it, when issues might arise.
Second episode: Why classroom training sucks
The second episode is a big rant on why classroom training is so bad. Ofcourse, we throw in some “it depends” answers like the great consultants we are, but we both agree that putting a lot of users in a big room for a day while you present a 150 slide PowerPoint, it is not going to end well.
Episode 3 will feature a surprise guest and will be out in a few weeks.
