Contrary to the popular Crowded House song, there weren’t four seasons in a day, but four sessions in one day! At the Virtual Marathon (#M365VM) a few weeks ago, that was how many sessions I did!
Luckily I had some awesome people to help out. So, here goes!
Become a Road Warrior with Teams Mobile
The first session of the day was a solo session, on a topic that I have been talking a lot about the last few months. Being on the road, or just at home these days, there are so many benefits in using the smartphone version of the Microsoft Teams app.
Blaming the end-user: Top tips to unscew-up user adoption
The second session of the day was with Jussi Mori, the crazy Fin who I am doing the Blame the Enduser series with. We talked about 5 pain points that can really screw-up your user adoption and how to mitigate them.
Working with the Business: Microsoft Search
After session nr2, it was time to drive the car to Brussels, to meet my podcast co-star and dear friend (and can I say mentor in all walks of life) Steve Dalby.
We were super fortunate to have 2 sessions approved for #M365VM. After a quick dinner, we started with the first one: How can you work together with the business to make Microsoft Search a success? No tech talk here, but pure business value!
Working with the business: Project Cortex Roles and Responsibilities
Time for a quick whisky and some giggles and off we went for number 4 of the day! Project Cortex is super hot and a lot of people are waiting for it to be released very soon. This session was all about the various roles that you need to set up in the organisation. Once more, no tech talk, all about the business!
Needless to say, I had one amazing day!
